In the past few months, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has reinterpreted the two-toned UNION colorway in both a Bulls Red and Royal variation; and now after only a few weeks, the silhouette is preparing to reuse the template with Varsity Purple accents.
A mixture of materials as well, both the toe box, eye stay, and heel counter bear a textural suede finish, one treated far rougher than that of the smooth leather underneath. The latter, which dresses in a plain white as per usual, creates a relatively neutral baseline alongside dark grey collars and the black paneling adjacent. Wings insignia and treads round off the palette in complement both below and along the top line, while the neutral tongue is branded with pink “AIR” text and a purple Jumpman in possible nod to the Raptors.
